endu dāgināḍō īḍaku
rānennaḍu daya vaccunō ō manasa
O My Mind! We don’t know where Lord is hiding and when will He have compassion to come here.

enduku capalamu vinavē nā manavini
mundaṭi vale bhaktula pōṣiñcuṭak(endu)
O My Mind! Why do you waver? Listen to my appeal; as earlier, in order to nurture His devotees, we don’t know where Lord is hiding and when will He have compassion to come here.

1. That day Hiranyakasipu, nursing much ill-will (against the Lord), when subjected his son to a lot of troubles, (the Lord) unable to tolerate, was He not (found) inside a pillar for the sake of the steady minded Prahlada? O My mind! in the same manner, we do not know where today Lord is hiding and when will He have compassion to come here.

2. Long ago, the Lord seeing Vali – son of Indra – one who has cloud – carrier of water – as carriage - arrogantly thrashing severely (his brother) Sugriva – son of Sun, unable to bear the sight, did He not stand behind a palmyra tree in order to lovingly protect Sugriva? O My mind! in the same manner, we do not know where today Lord is hiding and when will He have compassion to come here.

3. (a) In order to quell the misdeeds committed during previous births, (b) in order to get hold of the six enemies and pound them to pulp, and further (c) in order to protect in this World the unwavering true devotees as also this tyAgarja, O My mind! we do not know where today Lord is hiding and when will He have compassion to come here.
