The most charming Srihari, enamoured by Thulasi,
became her paramour;
ciluva-bhūṣaṇuḍu dārukā vanapu3

mana valala tagili pōye ganukanu (evaru)
Siva (wearer of snake-ornaments), in the Daruka forest,
became a possession of women;
