O Lord! Where from did You proceed? Which is Your abode? I do not know; at least now please let me know.

Anupallavi

guṇātītamaiyunndē kāni śrī rāma (endu)
Your beauty and charm being of totally different nature and Your conduct etc. are beyond the three qualities (Satvika, Rajasa and Tamasa); therefore, O Lord Sri Rama! Where from did You proceed? Which is Your abode? I do not know; at least now please let me know.

Yours is not the abode of Lord Siva where, for flimsy reasons, charges are slapped; Your abode is not Vaikuntha of Lord Vishnu who, taking the form of a Brahmachari, subdued King Bali by deceit; Yours is not the abode of Brahma who got his head plucked by uttering falsehood; O Lord of divine form endowed with courage, righteousness, truth and soft speech! O Lord praised by this Tyagaraja! Where from did You proceed? Which is Your abode? I do not know; at least now please let me know.
