3. | ciruta prāyamuna nāḍe bhajanāmṛta rasavihīna kutarkuḍaina (duḍuku) | (Which ... save me) who is a sophist lacking the nectar of Bhajana right from youth. |
4. | paradhanamula koraku norula madi-karaga baliki kaḍupu nimpa tiriginaṭṭi (duḍuku) | (Which ... save me) who, for the sake of others' money spoke so as to melt their heart, and moved around in order to fill his stomach. |
5. | tana madini bhuvini saukhyapu jīvaname yanucu sadā dinamulu gaḍipē | (Which ... save me) who bides time on earth considering life to be only (pursuit of) pleasure. |
6. | teliyani naṭa-viṭa kṣudrulu vanitalu swavaśamauṭa-kupadēśiñci santasilli swaralayambu-leruṅgakanu śilātmuḍai subhaktulaku samānamanu (duḍuku) | (Which... save me) who preached in order to attract ignorant dancer-philanderers, vile men and women, and rejoiced in this; who is a stone-souled one unfamiliar with ''swara'' and ''laya''; who thinks he is an equal of great devotees. |
7. | dṛṣṭiki sārambagu lalanā sadanārbhaka sēnā-mita dhanādulanu dēvādhideva nera nammitini gākanu padābja bhajanambu maracina | (Which ... save me) who totally believed in good-looking women, home, armies of children and limitless wealth, O god of gods; and besides, who forgot to sing the praises of your lotus-feet. |
8. | cakkani mukha kamalambunanu sadā nā madilo smaraṇa-lekanē durmadāndha janula kōri paritāpamulacē tagili nogili durviṣaya durāśalanu rōyalēka satatama-parādhinai capala cittuḍaina | (Which ... save me) who, not remembering continually (your) beautiful lotus-face in my mind, sought those blinded by arrogance, got pathetically trapped and lamented, unable to give up evil objects and desires, is fickle-minded and an eternal criminal. |
9. | mānava tanu durlabhamanucu neñci paramānanda-monda lēka mada matsara kāma lōbha mōhulaku dāsuḍai mōsa-bōti gāka | Not realising that the human form is difficult to obtain, and strive for the Supreme Bliss, I became a slave to arrogance, jealousy, lust, avarice and infatuation, and went to ruin. |
9. | modaṭi kulajuḍagucu bhuvini śūdrula panulu salpucunuṇṭini gāka narādhamulanu kōri sāra-hīna matamulanu sādhimpa tāru-māru (duḍuku) | Besides, though born into the first clan, I was performing the activities of Sudras.
